Effective teaching should demonstrate one or more of the Guidelines in action. This Toolkit is based on the Guidelines and is designed to assist you in reflecting on the effectiveness of your practices. You are invited to use it to review your classes, course, or program, and as a reflective tool. In a team context, course conveners might wish to meet with those involved in teaching a course to use the Toolkit. We encourage you to share your successes with using the Toolkit and consider including your best teaching examples of a Guideline in action as one of the exemplars in this website. If you would like to send a completed template or another example please contact me. The Template links download each Guideline template in Word format. These templates may be saved to your computer, and you may add your own content. “The Guidelines Toolkit Complete” link contains all the templates in a single document together with some instructions on use. To see what a Guideline template looks like and how to use it, please go to the Toolkit template link ” How to use a Toolkit template ” at the top left of this page. If you need help with using the Toolkit, contact Adrian Lee.
